The Front Room Cafe has been serving up good, honest food for nearly ten years now. We’re a great place to visit if you’re looking for restaurants Finsbury Park, cafes Finsbury Park, an N4 Eatery or N4 Cafe.
We offer an extensive breakfast menu and our regulars would say we serve the best breakfast North London and best brunch North London. Whether you want a fully cooked breakfast, our homemade hollandaise sauce on your eggs benedict, royal or Florentine or our freshly prepared and fabulously fluffy pancakes with fruit or bacon, we have it covered. We also serve Allpress Coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice plus smoothies.
Our lunch menu includes specials so there will always be something new to try. This will usually be a soup of the day, a homemade quiche plus a fish, meat and vegetarian dish. Regular menu classics feature our gourmet beef burger and fillet chicken burger, chicken escalope, Cumberland bangers with mash and tagliatelle with meatballs or mixed vegetables. For a lighter lunch try one of our salads which include warm goat’s cheese, halloumi or baby spinach or enjoy one of our freshly made sandwiches. Children can have their own mini me version of your breakfast or lunch dish so they’ll be happy.
If you fancy a sweet treat after your lunch then you must try our homemade cakes which will include a gluten free selection. The varieties on offer change daily but to give you an idea there is likely to be carrot cake, victoria sponge, lemon drizzle, banana bread, mocha cake or a mixed berry cheesecake.
All our food is freshly made on the premises from our hollandaise sauce to our pancake mix, quiches, soups and cakes. The meat is from Smithfield market. We don’t have a specific cuisine focus, it’s essentially lovingly home cooked and along the lines of comfort food which is tasty and satisfying. However, we do also cater for those wanting something healthier with our soups and salads. Over the years we’ve developed our menu which features dishes loved by our loyal customers.
